Red Sift
21A Noel St, London, United Kingdom
Overview
Red Sift provides an integrated cloud email security and brand protection platform that automates BIMI and DMARC processes and offers products including OnDMARC, OnINBOX and the newly announced OnDOMAIN. OnDMARC automates BIMI and DMARC certification (in partnership with Entrust) while OnINBOX offers advanced threat protection and remediation capabilities; OnDOMAIN enables takedown of phishing sites and discovery of unsecured domains. The company said it more than doubled annual recurring revenue in the last 12 months, grew its customer base to over 700 major brands, and doubled global headcount. Red Sift plans to use new capital to accelerate global expansion, open a new US headquarters in Austin, Texas, hire across departments and invest in platform innovation. It has expanded strategic partnerships with Microsoft (OnINBOX joining MISA), Entrust for BIMI certification, and SecurityScorecard for email security policy insights. Recent governance and leadership additions include board members Mike Hedger and Michel van der Bel, investor board appointees Sam Brooks and Michael Graninger, special advisor Ciaran Martin, and new executive hires such as a Chief Growth Officer and VP of Customer Success. Red Sift is a cognitive data platform that provides cloud-based email security solutions using machine learning to analyse and synthesise data from core business processes such as email. Its core products include OnDMARC, which helps prevent phishing and email impersonation, and the newly public OnINBOX for intelligent inbox threat detection. The company says its OnDMARC customer base has grown over 800%, and customers include Telefonica, ITV, Action for Children and Sadler’s Wells. Founded in 2015 and based in London, Red Sift positions itself as a serverless data platform delivering accessible SaaS security solutions. The company plans to use the investment to expand into the US. Red Sift also cites long-standing service to the UK government and alignment with National Cyber Security Strategy initiatives. Red Sift, founded by ex-Shazam technical architect Rahul Powar and another ex-Shazamer, is building a cloud-based developer platform that plugs into varied data sources to surface meaningful insights. Its core product is a library of open microservices called "Sifts" that run secure computations on users' data and deliver results to dashboards or messaging channels. The platform is developer-friendly and open source, allowing developers and eventually regular users to create, modify, and extend Sifts. Demonstrated use cases include flagging connections in email via Twitter/AngelList signals, aggregating taxi receipts to produce spending summaries, and visualizing Google Analytics with graphs sent to Slack. The company is gearing up for a full launch early next year and has raised $2 million to support that effort. Red Sift is based in London.
