Redex Group operates a trading platform and one-stop ecosystem for renewable energy certificates (RECs), supporting asset registration, production verification, a marketplace and retirement. The company was founded in 2018 by CEO Jen-Wee Kang and is based in Singapore. Redex has integrated with registries and partners, becoming the first API-integrated Platform Operator Account on I-REC. It also announced a partnership with China Southern Grid to support the grid operator as an I-REC Issuer in China. Redex plans to use recent funding to expand beyond Asia and to further digitize and streamline REC issuance and trading.
