Reditus Space

916 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd NW, Suite 6, Atlanta, GA, 30318, United States

Overview

Reditus Space is developing ENOS, a reusable orbital free-flyer that will carry up to 40 kg of customer payloads for eight-week missions before splashdown recovery. The Atlanta-based company targets pharmaceutical, biotechnology, advanced materials, and defense customers that need microgravity experimentation or hypersonic re-entry data. Its first demonstrator is scheduled to launch on a SpaceX rideshare next summer, moving from seed funding to orbit in just 15 months. Reditus currently employs 13 full-time staff and several interns. The startup ultimately plans to field fully reusable vehicles—requiring no refurbishment—by 2027 and to scale payload capacity beyond the initial model. Proprietary heat-shield materials and flexible spacecraft architecture are touted as key technical differentiators enabling lower pricing and faster launch cadence than competitors. The company has already secured multiple commercial customers and contracts with U.S. Department of Defense stakeholders for re-entry data collection. A $7.1 million seed round provides its present capital base.
