Refine Intelligence raised $13M in Seed funding to scale its AI-driven financial crime greenflagging platform. The company is based in New York City and Tel Aviv and is led by CEO Uri Rivner. It plans to use the proceeds to accelerate expansion within North America, Europe and Latin America and to advance development of its technology. Refine's proprietary AI scans anti-money-laundering alerts from transaction-monitoring systems to "greenflag" legitimate customer activity and reduce investigation time. The platform can also be applied to protect against check fraud, scams and money mules and provides critical real-time context to explain customer actions. Product capabilities include user-facing digital inquiries to collect source-of-funds and activity context, and AI trained on a proprietary dataset to automatically recognize customer life stories.
