Reframe
379 W Broadway Fl 2, New York City, New York, 10012, United States
Overview
Reframe is developing a native MacOS and Windows application—its Organized Work Environment—that restructures the desktop into “Streams” where apps, AI tools, and content are automatically organized around the way users think and work. The platform aims to eliminate the fragmentation caused by siloed SaaS tools, which the company cites as costing employees 12 hours per week in lost productivity. Reframe’s software reduces cognitive load, supports deep focus, and allows multiple users to collaborate within the same context-aware Streams. Founded by former Stack Overflow COO Jeff Szczepanski and staffed by several Stack Overflow and Sphere alumni, the company positions the OWE as an extension of the desktop rather than another standalone app. An internal prototype is already running, with a private Alpha scheduled for early-2025 and a public Beta later that year. The core product will be offered as a free download with a familiar browser-style installation experience. To date, Reframe has secured $5 million in seed funding to accelerate product development and commercialization.
