Overview
Regrow offers a suite of agrifood tech tools to support corporate sustainability and regenerative agriculture adoption. Its three core products are the Impact Measurement Tool (IMT) for quantifying GHG emissions and modeling regenerative practices, Sustainability Insights (SI), a map-based tool for visualizing regenerative adoption across supply sheds, and a Measurement, Reporting & Verification (MRV) solution for designing programs with farmers and tracking emissions reductions and soil health. The company reports its MRV is used on over 2 million acres and its SI touches scope-3 supply sheds covering over 500 million acres. Over the next year Regrow intends to use new capital to expand its presence in key food-producing regions and grow the number of farmers in its ecosystem. It also plans to work with partners to establish incentive programs to encourage broader adoption of regenerative practices and extend coverage to more producers and systems, including rangelands, dairy, and perennial crops. Select partners include Anheuser-Busch, Bayer, Cargill, General Mills, Kellogg’s, PepsiCo and The Nature Conservancy. Regrow provides an MRV platform for agriculture that enables transparent reporting, historical analysis, and forward-looking projections of carbon sequestration and emissions reductions. The company uses the DNDC soil model and its satellite-based OpTIS product to reduce the need for frequent soil sampling and cut verification costs. Regrow positions itself as an independent, objective turnkey MRV system that does not operate a carbon market, which it says avoids conflicts of interest. Its platform supports delivery of buyer- and seller-initiated programs and helps growers choose practices by showing potential outcomes and payments. Paying subscribers include Cargill, Bayer, and General Mills. Regrow plans international expansion into Australia, Brazil, Canada, and Europe.
