Overview
Regrow combines science and enterprise technology to help the largest food manufacturers, their suppliers, and farmers measure, report, and reduce on-farm emissions. Its unified software platform uses proprietary remote sensing, AI, and soil modeling to deliver Sustainability Insights and an MRV platform. The company recently launched Regrow PlanAI, an AI-driven solution to create high-ROI regenerative agriculture program plans for scope 3 emissions targets. Regrow serves major partners including PepsiCo, Nestlé, Cargill, General Mills and Kellanova. The company says its platform enables measurement and monitoring of farming-practice impacts and the development of regenerative agriculture programs. Founded in 2016 and led by CEO Anastasia Volkova, Regrow is focused on expanding global reach and enhancing its science and software offerings. Regrow Ag offers a science- and technology-driven SaaS platform that measures and verifies carbon outcomes for food and agriculture companies, enabling regenerative agriculture programs. The company works with major food-sector clients such as Kellogg’s, Cargill, and General Mills. Its solutions currently power regenerative programs on over two million acres and touch scope-three supply sheds covering over 500 million acres. Regrow’s multinational team of scientists, agronomists, engineers, and software developers supports customers from growers to global food companies. The company raised growth capital in 2022 to expand its programs and connect more farmers to regenerative practices and ecosystem-market revenue streams. Regrow’s stated mission is to make regenerative agriculture ubiquitous across the globe. Regrow builds an MRV platform that customizes, optimizes and monetizes carbon-impact strategies across buyers, sellers, producers and verifiers in the agri-food supply chain. The platform integrates with numerous Farm Management Systems to ingest agronomic records, uses satellite imagery and the Operation Tillage Information System (OpTIS) to map practices like cover cropping and tillage, and supplements farmer records to reduce the need for extensive soil testing. It provides historical analyses, scenario planning and future projections to help growers estimate and increase soil carbon storage and other ecosystem outcomes. Regrow monitors over 150 million acres in 45 countries and supports customers including General Mills, Cargill, and Bayer AG. The company is collaborating with The Nature Conservancy and others to expand OpTIS application across the U.S. Corn Belt. Proceeds from the recent round will be used to accelerate global rollout and adoption of the MRV tool.
