Reibus is a SaaS-enabled, independent and anonymous marketplace for industrial metals and materials, founded in 2018 and based in Atlanta, Georgia. The platform uses technology to address ingrained supply-chain problems by shortening lead times, reducing inventory, and streamlining finance and freight services. For sellers the marketplace aims to maximize price-performance, expand market reach, and reduce sales and marketing expenses; for buyers it increases selection and market transparency while reducing time and investment required to procure materials. Reibus offers marketplace and mobile app tools and plans to accelerate new financial and logistical products. Financially, the company raised $75 million in a Series B that brought total funding above $100 million and valued the company at $750 million. The proceeds are intended to fund marketplace expansion, enhanced mobile tools and services, new financial and logistical products, and expansion of European operations with dedicated teams and resources.
