With this funding the company plans to accelerate efforts to improve diversity and representation in clinical trial participation. Reify is launching BRIDGE (Bringing Representation, Inclusion, and Diversity to Global Enrollment), a multi-year initiative to study barriers and deliver solutions to boost underrepresented minority participation over the next ten years. Reify Health operates two business entities—StudyTeam and Care Access—that together provide technology and infrastructure to shorten clinical trial timelines. StudyTeam is a platform for optimizing patient recruitment and enrollment and is used by top-20 global biopharma companies such as Amgen, AstraZeneca, and Eli Lilly, and approximately 4,000 research sites across 65 countries. Care Access is described as the world’s leading decentralized research organization, having built more than 60 new research sites and deploying Mobile Site Vehicles to bring trials to patients and communities. The StudyTeam platform was built in 2015 to rapidly identify interested patients and help sponsors optimize enrollment strategies. Reify plans to use new funding to accelerate global operations for Care Access, deepen partnerships with clinics and healthcare organizations, and scale StudyTeam’s functionality to manage complex decentralized trial logistics. The company says its services eliminate delays in drug development by addressing the industry’s persistent enrollment bottleneck. Reify Health offers StudyTeam, a cloud-based platform that brings research sites and biopharma sponsors onto a shared system to eliminate redundant work and provide real-time enrollment insights. The product reduces manual data copying and, on average, accelerates enrollment by six weeks per trial. StudyTeam is used by 1,800 research sites across 26 countries and by half of the top-20 global biopharma companies, including Eli Lilly and Amgen. The platform’s ease of use and ‘‘stickiness’’ has led some top-20 biopharma companies to implement it across global portfolios. Reify says the funding will support continued expansion of its StudyTeam enrollment solution and the acceleration of additional platform offerings. The company emphasizes improving efficiency for frontline healthcare staff to make trials faster, cheaper, and more predictable.
