Relex provides retail planning solutions that use AI and machine learning to improve demand forecasting and guide retailers on what and how much to stock. The platform targets both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce customers and is built on cloud and ML technologies. Relex counts customers such as Albertsons and Morrisons and says its business is mostly in North America and Europe, with the U.S. growing fastest. The company has been capital-efficient to date, previously raising between $20 million and $30 million (largely from Summit Partners) with much of that still in the bank. Sales have been growing about 50% year over year, and the company plans to accelerate that growth using new funding. Product roadmap includes expanding beyond on-demand forecasting into adjacent services like labor optimization and additional platform capabilities.
