Relive converts outdoor activity data from services like Strava or Garmin and timestamped photos into 3D animated fly-through videos. The app stitches GPS tracks with images to highlight landmarks and create personal story-style videos of rides, hikes, or road trips. It has been used by professional cyclists, attracted high-profile users such as Kevin Systrom, and has nearly half a million users creating roughly 100,000 videos per day. The team plans to expand beyond cycling to other outdoor activities and remains focused on growth and improving the product. Relive has not yet generated revenue and says it still needs to figure out its business model, while expecting to pass 1 million users this summer. The company recently closed $1 million in seed funding from a number of undisclosed investors.
