Reltime AS
Lilleakerveien 2C, Oslo, 0183, Norway
Overview
Reltime, based in Oslo, Norway, provides a Web3 platform built on its own Layer-1 Proof-of-Authority blockchain that charges zero transaction and gas fees. The platform includes non-custodian wallets, a SuperApp, loyalty programs, payment and lending solutions, QR codes, CBDC and digital fiat support, utility tokens, and customer administration features such as eKYC, identity management, SLA, and reporting. It also incorporates decentralized identity to support tokenization, asset ownership, supply-chain digitization, and global trade use cases. The company has received funding approval and financial support from the Research Council of Norway for a three-year development initiative. The funded project focuses on using 5G mobile handsets as node validators in Reltime’s Layer-1 blockchain to scale and enable efficient microtransactions. Reltime ran an initial pilot of 5G handset node validators in June 2023 and plans to continue developing this solution under the Research Council-backed program led by CEO and co-founder Marlene Julo. Reltime operates a global Layer 1, Proof-of-Authority Web3 financial ecosystem that lets members send, receive, withdraw, deposit, borrow, lend, earn, swap, interact, transact and open joint accounts across 150 countries. The platform supports developers and partners via OpenAPI, dApps, smart contracts and white-labelled B2B2C and embedded Web3 finance solutions. Reltime encourages individual developers and tech companies to build applications into its ecosystem and to create bespoke sub-ecosystems. The company has listed its RTC token on several digital-asset exchanges, including BitMart and CoinTiger, and maintains subsidiaries in Norway (Conax Technology AS, est. January 2010), Lithuania and El Salvador. Management is led by CEO Peter Michel Heilmann and the technology was invented by Frode van der Laak. Future product integration plans include off-net integration of physical, biometric and virtual cards, e-money, BIN and IBAN rails (SWIFT, SEPA and the UK FPS).
