Overview
remberg offers a scalable, mobile, AI-driven maintenance platform that integrates with existing IT infrastructure and optimizes maintenance workflows. The platform lets factory operators scan a QR code to access a built-in AI chat assistant when equipment malfunctions. It targets industrial customers seeking to reduce costly unplanned machine downtime and can be used whether or not a company already has maintenance software in place. The company serves more than 150 customers and its customers manage over 1 million assets in the solution. remberg plans to use the new funding to accelerate expansion across Europe and further enhance its AI-powered maintenance platform. The business was founded in 2018 and is based in Munich, Germany. remberg develops a new breed of CRM software that expands CRM from person-centric workflows to place- and thing-centric processes, allowing customers to digitise workflows around equipment such as machines, buildings, and vehicles. The platform is intended to form the operational basis for IoT by mapping complex relationships around products and assets. According to the company, existing customers are already managing several hundred thousand machines, systems and equipment on the platform. CEO David Hahn says the first step is moving away from Excel and paper to a digital cloud solution before teams can adopt predictive maintenance and IoT. The fresh capital will be used primarily to further expand sales, product, and engineering functions. remberg was founded in August 2018 in Munich by David Hahn, Julian Madrzak, Hagen Schmidtchen, and Cecil Wöbker. remberg builds a cloud-based Asset-Relationship-Management system that digitalizes service processes for industrial machines. The platform enables manufacturers to offer digital documentation, service requests, maintenance and spare-parts ordering to their customers. remberg’s founders—David Hahn, Julian Madrzak, Hagen Schmidtchen and Cecil Wöbker—lead the Munich-based company. The team says the goal is to make service processes more efficient so users can find what they need in a few clicks and order under the best conditions. Fly Ventures and Speedinvest recently invested 2 million in the company. remberg plans to use the investment primarily to expand its sales and development teams.
