Remezcla is a digital brand for young, bicultural Latinos that reaches an audience of 40m. Founded in 2006 by CEO Andrew Herrera, the company produces content across five verticals: Culture, Music, Film, Food and Sports. It focuses on digital video production, creating short-form social videos and long-form episodic series. The company intends to expand its video production studios in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Remezcla will announce a new original video slate later this summer. The company raised up to $11M in Series A financing, including a $5M investment from Hemisphere Media Group.
