Remoria VR develops Lignum, a high-performance mobile VR controller featuring low latency, high data transmission, hand-movement and orientation tracking, and compatibility with all operating systems. The company plans to use the newly raised funds to speed up development, production and commercialization of its virtual reality device. Remoria VR raised €700K in funding to support those efforts. Backers included Invitalia Ventures (€300K), LVenture Group (€120K) and a group of business angels that committed the remaining sum. Over 800 developers applied for the Lignum beta-test within three months, and large manufacturers of virtual mobility hardware have shown interest. The company participated in the Luiss Enlabs acceleration program in the second half of 2016.
