Remoteli operates an AI-powered platform that matches organizations with qualified African tech talent and offers tools for remote work including project management, communication, time tracking and invoicing. The company says it has hired over 100 individuals directly and supported over 100 dedicated clients. Remoteli has focused on bootstrapping and minimal fundraising to maximize organic growth while developing a broader suite of customizable features for employers. It recently expanded to Kigali, Rwanda and plans to extend operations to several other African countries in 2024. The startup is also developing the Pathways project to retrain young athletes and other groups for careers off the pitch. Remoteli aims to facilitate employment for 1 million people by 2030 and is eyeing a Series A later this year.
