Rensair produces a portable hospital-grade air purifier that captures and destroys airborne bacteria and viruses, including the Coronavirus family. Founded in May 2020 by Danish twins Christian and Frederik Hendriksen, the company initially supplied Scandinavian hospitals and is expanding applications across care homes, dental practices, offices, gyms, entertainment venues and retail outlets. The company serves over 800 customers, including CBRE, Disney, Morgan Stanley, PepsiCo, SNCF and the UK National Health Service, and its first year’s sales were in the millions. Rensair plans to use new funding to expand its presence globally, broaden its product portfolio with IoT connectivity, and increase marketing outreach. The company is headquartered in London and operates across the UK, Europe, USA and Asia. Rensair also announced the acquisition of the air filtration business of AirLabs, bringing complementary filtration and IoT technologies and products such as the compact AirBubbl.
