Renzo
100 W 72nd St Basement, New York, NY, 10023, United States
Overview
Renzo is a Liquid Restaking Protocol built on EigenLayer that provides a user-friendly interface to secure Actively Validated Services (AVS) and access restaking rewards. It accepts native ETH and Liquid Staking Tokens (stETH, wBETH) and issues ezETH, its Liquid Restaking Token, to give users broad exposure to EigenLayer and Ethereum. The protocol runs a distributed Ethereum validator infrastructure powered by Figment, P2P.org and Hashkey Cloud and offers integrations across Arbitrum, Base, Blast, Linea, Mode and BNB Chain with over 100 DeFi integrations. Renzo reports nearly $4 billion already restaked through the platform and positions itself as a settlement layer for dual staking adoption. The new funding will be used to expand its restaking services and simplify participation by addressing complexity, risk and cost barriers. Renzo emphasizes institutional-grade node operator integrations, risk management and rewards tracking to make restaking more accessible. Renzo is a remote provider of a DeFi liquid restaking protocol live on EigenLayer's Mainnet. Its Beta Mainnet launched on December 18, 2023 and attracted USD $20 million in deposits from over 2,000 users, making it the fastest growing restaking protocol on EigenLayer. The protocol allows users to restake ETH while bypassing EigenLayer Liquid Staking Token (LST) caps. The company intends to use new funding to expand operations and accelerate development and is preparing for the launch of EigenDA. Renzo has emphasized building relationships with leading exchanges such as OKX to improve accessibility and ease of use. The recent investment was announced as coming from OKX Ventures; the amount was not disclosed.
