The core product combines visual and voice replication with NLP trained on a company’s marketing materials and CRM data to enable real-time video and audio conversations. Founder Daniel Ternyak says the goal is to provide human-like availability without human constraints, positioning the product between impersonal chatbots and live sales staff. The startup plans to use its new funding to further develop its AI models and hire engineering talent. Rep.ai raised $7.5 million in funding to support this launch. The company will need to navigate ethical questions around employee likeness and consent as well as competition from large tech firms entering the AI agent space.
