Replenish
1401 Washington Ave, San Leandro, CA, 94577, United States
Overview
Replenish, formerly LivBlends, builds Keurig-like, self-cleaning smoothie machines that run on single-use, recipe-specific pods. The product is designed for B2B placement in offices and is currently in testing with pilot deployments around San Francisco. Employees at SAP, Lucasfilm, SolarCity, Sephora, VMware, Uber and New Relic have sampled the machines in pilot locations. Pods cost $3.50–$5 depending on the recipe, are made from 100% recyclable plastic, and the company is working on 100% compostable cups. Replenish emphasizes sugar-free formulations that keep fiber intact and offers pods that can make baby food, hot soups, hummus and other purees. The company plans to place machines for free through food delivery services and monetize by selling pods; it has launched a pre-order campaign.
