Overview
Replicate Bioscience develops self-replicating RNA (srRNA) therapeutics using synthetic biology and a proprietary repertoire of virally derived vectors to achieve prolonged protein expression and lower dosing. The company is advancing a proprietary 'synthetic immune lethality' approach to prevent or remove drug-resistant cancer mutations for concurrent administration with targeted therapies in solid tumors. Replicate is also developing srRNA injections intended to provide sustained therapeutic protein expression for autoimmune and inflammatory disorders and other disease areas. Its platform emphasizes original molecular design principles to enable selective immune activation or evasion and claims advantages including much lower dosing and increased duration of therapeutic effect. The company was launched by life sciences venture firm ATP and is headquartered in San Diego, California. Replicate plans to use committed Series A funding to advance multiple novel srRNA programs into clinical development.
