Reporty offers a smartphone-based emergency-services app that routes audio, video and connectivity to dispatchers and can fall back across networks in large-scale events. The app was developed out of an IDF intelligence unit and integrates with partners such as Magen David Adom. During a pilot that began in early 2016 the app was downloaded over 100,000 times; the company’s team is about 20 people with most R&D remaining in Israel. Reporty is currently available only in Israel, plans a U.S. office headed by Elichai, and is preparing pilots in Asia and discussions with governments in Asia and Africa. The product can auto-dial local first responders outside Israel (though video and location features are not yet available internationally) and uses a smart router to prioritize alternative connections. Management says revenue could come from subscriptions sized to communities or integration into larger systems, and the company sees smart-city projects as a target.
