Resilient Power is an Austin, Texas-based company that has developed a solid-state transformer enabling multi-megawatt medium-voltage fast charging. Its system cuts installation time to roughly one-tenth of conventional solutions and can charge up to 24 vehicles simultaneously. The platform also supports solar generation, energy storage, vehicle-to-grid and microgrid functions, and can connect DC or AC sources to a medium-voltage grid line to help avoid costly distribution upgrades. The technology is positioned for fleet charging applications, aligning with large-scale EV deployments such as Amazon’s plans to incorporate 100,000 custom EVs by 2030. Financially, Resilient Power closed a $5 million seed round in which Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund and GS Futures participated; the round was led by Energy Transition Ventures. The company’s offering is aimed at reducing installation time and grid upgrade costs for fleet operators and other commercial charging users.
