Resistomap is building a biosecurity intelligence platform that leverages an extensive environmental AMR database. The company plans to convert its environmental monitoring data into integrated early‑warning systems, in‑depth genetic results, advanced prediction models of AMR spread, and personalized recommendations to reduce dissemination. Target users include wastewater treatment plants, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, agri‑ and aquaculture industries, food safety agencies, and public health authorities. The platform is intended to enable monitoring and prevention of environmental antimicrobial resistance and broader biosecurity threats. Resistomap announced a €2M seed round to fund this transformation, led by Ananda Impact Venture with participation from Gaingel and support from a Business Finland R&D grant. CEO and Founder Windi Muziasari said the company's vision extends beyond AMR toward a comprehensive biosecurity platform addressing known and unknown pathogens.
