Overview
Respond Software offers the Respond Analyst™, an RDA software platform that allows security teams to monitor and triage security events 24/7/365 at speed and scale. The flagship product increases the capabilities and capacity of existing security teams—on average adding 14 full-time, 24/7/365 expert security analysts to every team it serves. The Respond Analyst is deployed in numerous Fortune 500 Companies with large Security Operation Centers (SOCs) as well as resource-constrained mid-enterprise companies nationwide. Led by CEO Mike Armistead, the company raised $20M in a Series B to accelerate go-to-market operations and expand customer success teams globally. In conjunction with the funding, Jay Leek of ClearSky Security will join Respond’s Board of Directors. Respond Software, based in Mountain View, CA, has launched its initial product, The Respond Analyst™. The product emulates the decision-making ability and judgment of an expert security analyst and adds personnel capacity to enterprise Security Operation Centers (SOCs) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs). It currently offers two analyst modules addressing network intrusion and system compromise use cases and performs every security check, every time, at a scale intended for large enterprises and agencies. The Respond Analyst provides metrics about its performance and information for compliance audits, and it maintains a SOC’s tribal security knowledge 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The company has raised $12m in Series A funding led by CRV and Foundation Capital. Respond Software has also added veteran advisors to guide its technical and business direction, including Gerhard Eschelbeck, Richard Seiersen and Izak Mutlu.
