Restless Bandit builds HR recruiting software that uses artificial intelligence, data science and machine learning to rediscover the best-matched candidates within a company's existing pool of past applicants. Its flagship products, Talent Rediscovery and Resume Refresh, programmatically surface and reach out to candidates in applicant tracking systems and HRIS, and Resume Refresh updates resumes with publicly available data to prevent resume decay. The company trained its algorithms on more than 120 million job descriptions and 30 million resumes, tracking hundreds of resume variables, and its team includes technologists from Google, LinkedIn and Bright plus four PhDs. Restless Bandit says its platform increases applicant quality, saves recruiters time, reduces spend on job advertising and can improve diversity by eliminating unconscious bias. The San Francisco-based company counts clients including Gannett (USA Today), IHOP, Applebee's, comScore, Rosewood Hotels, Cabot Corporation and Aimco. It has raised $10 million in financing and will use the proceeds to build out the team and continue powering the data science behind its Talent Rediscovery platform.
