Revenue Cycle Solutions provides outsourced revenue cycle management services to hospitals and healthcare providers, focusing on collection of small-balance insurance and self-pay patient account balances. The company employs proprietary technology, tools and processes to cost-effectively recover difficult-to-collect balances. Capital Resource Partners provided $8 million of growth capital to help finance RCS's acquisition of CashRetriever Systems, and the two companies will merge under the RCS name. CashRetriever, with operations in Birmingham, AL and Tyler, TX, will add approximately $10 million of annual revenue to the combined business. The combined company will employ over 200 associates and serve more than 150 hospital facilities. Nick Scola, a partner at Capital Resource Partners, will join RCS's board of directors.
