Reviver Auto, based in Foster City, California and led by CEO Neville Boston, develops the RPlate™, a digital license plate and connected car platform. Its RPlate Pro converts stamped metal plates into a multi-functional digital display and the company’s RConnect platform manages the RPlate’s functionality. Approved by multiple state DMVs and DOTs, the RPlate offers telematics, personalization, digitally-automated vehicle registration, targeted marketing messaging, emergency alert broadcasting and vehicle tracking. State DOTs, DMVs, OEMs, fleet management companies and auto dealers are cited as potential customers. Legislation authorizing pilot programs has been passed in California, Arizona, Texas and Florida as the company expands its national presence. Reviver closed an $11.1M funding round and intends to use the proceeds to accelerate development of the Reviver Auto platform, its patented technology including RConnect, and to advance its work with state DMVs and legislatures. The company also announced two Board additions: Ken Denman and Stephen Polk.
