Rezilion

Gav Yam Negev 2, Beer-Sheva, Southern District, Israel

Overview

Rezilion provides a platform, powered by proprietary Unison workload composition analysis technology, that creates a comprehensive dynamic model of code across cloud workloads and applications. The platform automatically generates a full software bill-of-materials and reverse-engineers code to understand function, status, and interactions. Rezilion positions its product to reduce the security work required to release new digital products while keeping environments secure. The company plans to use the $30M Series A to scale its go-to-market approach through partnerships with other DevSecOps solution providers and to grow operations across the US and Europe. It also intends to further develop the product to close the gap between security and engineering. The company is led by co-founders Liran Tancman (CEO) and Shlomi Boutnaru (CTO) and is based in St. Charles, Missouri and Be'er Sheva, Israel. Rezilion is an autonomous cloud workload protection platform based in Beersheba, Israel. Its platform makes production environments self-healing and resilient by ensuring services, even those with vulnerabilities, continue running without interruption. When a vulnerability is exploited, the affected service is automatically returned to a known-good state and the attack is mitigated. The platform also identifies unused vulnerable code in production so DevOps teams can remove it and improve operational hygiene. The company was founded by Liran Tancman and Shlomi Boutnaru, whose prior cybersecurity startup CyActive was acquired by PayPal in 2015. Rezilion raised $8M in seed funding and plans to use the proceeds to expand R&D in Israel and build sales and support operations in the US.
