Overview

Rhoda AI is building FutureVision, a foundation model for robotic intelligence based on the company’s proprietary Direct Video Action (DVA) architecture. The system is pre-trained on hundreds of millions of internet videos to learn motion, physics, and physical interaction, then post-trained on smaller robot datasets to map predictions to actions in closed-loop control cycles lasting only a few hundred milliseconds. This allows robots to handle shifting factory layouts, unseen objects, and unpredictable workflows that defeat conventional automation. In a high-volume manufacturing evaluation, Rhoda robots completed a component-processing workflow in under two minutes per cycle without human intervention, surpassing customer KPIs. Over time, the firm intends to license FutureVision to third-party hardware and software providers while continuing direct industrial deployments. Emerging from 18 months in stealth, Rhoda is led by CEO and co-founder Jagdeep Singh alongside a team drawn from Stanford, generative AI, computer vision, and robotics labs. With its recent capital infusion, the company plans to intensify R&D, broaden customer pilots, and scale commercial rollout.
