Rhythms

800 Bellevue Way NE, Suite 500, Bellevue, WA, 98004, United States

Overview

Rhythms integrates with a business’s existing internal apps and platforms to detect sets of recurring activities—such as business reviews, retrospectives and cross-functional meetings—and uses AI to surface insights and recommendations teams can adopt. The product lets teams personalize and adopt the cadences of other teams both inside and outside their organizations. Founder Vetri Vellore launched Rhythms after selling Ally.io to Microsoft and leverages his enterprise productivity background; he declined to disclose full technical details ahead of launch. Rhythms says it will not identify activities specific to individuals or assess individual productivity and is building privacy and compliance into the product from day one. The startup raised a $26M seed round and intends to use the funds for product development, hiring in Seattle and India (where most engineering is being done), and preparing a platform preview for select customers in early 2024. The article notes the company secured investor backing before landing its first customer and also raises skepticism about whether transplanting routines across teams will reliably improve performance.
