Richualist’s core product, The Mint, is a washday styling tool that uses heat and single-use product pods to warm liquid hair products and streamline detangling and application. The device ships with six attachments and is aimed at simplifying care for 3A–4C textured hair. Founder Dawn Myers developed the technology to optimize product effectiveness and reduce the time and complexity of styling highly textured hair. Myers invested heavily personally—selling a home and liquidating retirement savings—to bring the product to market. The company secured $1 million in venture-capital backing in 2022, after which Myers retained a 72% stake. Myers has said the Shark Tank moment is a springboard to grow momentum and pursue a "billion-dollar vision."
