Ride Health

29 W 17th St, New York, NY, 10011, United States

Overview

Ride Health is a Flatiron District–based medical transit management company whose app enables healthcare providers to book and coordinate rides for patients going to and from appointments. The software integrates with ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft and tailors transportation based on riders’ medical records and personal preferences. Current customers include health systems such as NYC Health + Hospitals and Memorial Sloan Kettering, as well as programs serving elderly individuals and people with intellectual or developmental disabilities whose trips are paid for by Medicare, Medicaid or grant funding. In 2024, the firm plugged into Unite Us, allowing providers on that social-care referral platform to schedule Medicaid-covered rides under a $7.5 billion 1115 waiver pilot. Ride Health also offers tools for providers that own their own vehicles and drivers and plans to grow this fleet-management line. Founder Imran Cronk describes the addressable market as “enormous,” though the company has not disclosed revenue or user figures. The business has now secured an additional $15 million through extensions of its earlier Series A round, building on the $10 million Series A it raised in 2021.
