Overview
RideFlux is a South Korean startup focused on end-to-end AI-based autonomous driving software that powers both passenger and freight vehicles. The company runs the country’s only licensed driverless pilot with no safety driver, accumulating more than 2,300 hours of data in Seoul’s Sangam district. It has also operated autonomous public transportation services in Seoul, Busan, Sejong and Jeju, and recently began a Level 4 autonomous car-sharing pilot under a government project. Commercial plans for 2024 include launching paid middle-mile autonomous freight transport with partners such as Samdasoo and expanding into robotaxi services. RideFlux claims to be the only domestic operator capable of hub-to-hub autonomous truck runs that cover highways and surrounding urban roads. To support expansion, the company is advancing its driverless technology and intends to leverage government-designated autonomous driving pilot cities for large-scale commercialization. Financially, RideFlux has raised approximately 75.2 billion won to date and targets a KOSDAQ listing in the second half of next year.
