Ridge provides a cloud platform that lets businesses deploy cloud-based applications on any infrastructure and in any location worldwide. It addresses public cloud coverage gaps by giving developers building blocks to deploy anywhere, combining public-cloud agility with the performance of localized infrastructure. The Ridge cloud is built atop existing infrastructure across hundreds of data centers; partners include T-Systems, NTT, and INAP. Data centers can add Ridge’s public cloud services without needing the expertise to run those services themselves. Ridge emphasizes compatibility with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures and targets emerging location-dependent applications, such as IoT. Ridge was founded in 2018 by Mati Lerner, Nir Sheffi, and Jonathan Seelig.
