Founded in 2017 in Shanghai, Rigen Biotech focuses on creating a full-process solution for thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer. Its product matrix includes disposable biopsy needles, multi-gene qPCR and NGS test kits, a thyroglobulin gene assay, and the AI-driven Thyroscan® classifier tailored to the Chinese population. In August 2023 the company secured China’s first Class III registration for a multi-gene thyroid nodule test (BRAF/TERT/CCDC6-RET), and in October 2025 its thyroglobulin mRNA kit entered the NMPA breakthrough review program. Rigen operates a 2,500 m² GMP facility, is ISO13485-certified, and employs more than 200 staff, including five national-level experts. Its products already serve nearly 200 top-tier hospitals across more than 30 provinces, winning wide clinical adoption. Looking ahead, the firm plans to expand into intra-operative therapy and post-operative chronic management while accelerating new product registrations, with the goal of achieving multi-fold revenue growth.
