Ringpay develops the Charing App, a mobile application that enables non-profits, charities and NGOs to fundraise via smartphones and social media. The company’s stated mission is to “humanize mobile payments.” Ringpay is incubated by Level39 and was founded by Michele Silletti and Cristina Bonaccurso. It recently received an initial premium tranche of seed funding to support expansion. The funds will be used to grow operations and hire in marketing and sales. The company is also backed by investor and advisor Stefano Tresca.
