Overview

RingRevenue develops call marketing automation solutions that let businesses set up, manage and adjust online, offline and mobile marketing campaigns in real time. The platform features complete campaign management, clear attribution, and practical analytics channels. Led by CEO Jason Spievak, the company serves Fortune 5000 companies, small and medium-size businesses, and advertising networks. RingRevenue raised an additional $3.25M in funding to support growth. The company intends to use the capital to expand its sales, marketing and software development. It is based in Santa Barbara, CA. RingRevenue operates a call performance platform that enables companies to extend tracking, measurement and accountability of online performance marketing to phone-based transactions. The product supports phone-driven campaigns and integrates call activity into performance marketing workflows. The company reports more than 25,000 publishers and runs hundreds of call-based campaigns for roughly 10,000 advertisers across its partner networks. RingRevenue lists partnerships with Google, ValueClick, Commission Junction and Rakuten. It was initially founded in 2007 by a group of Callwave veterans. The company recently raised $4 million in a new financing, bringing total financing to $7.5 million. With the additional capital, RingRevenue plans to ramp up product development, grow customer development and support teams, and expand its presence outside the United States. RingRevenue provides a pay-per-call platform designed for affiliate networks and ad agencies to track phone-call driven sales much like online clicks. The product assigns unique local and toll-free phone numbers to publishers running campaigns so advertisers can measure publisher performance and compensate them accordingly. It includes real-time inbound caller filtering that matches numbers against a database compiled from in-house and third-party data vendors to help advertisers maximize returns. The company launched in stealth nine months prior to the article and has signed four of the top ten affiliate networks, including Commission Junction. RingRevenue positions itself to relieve advertisers of the logistical burden of distributing numbers and compensating publishers by letting affiliate networks manage those processes. CEO and founder Jason Spievak leads a team with prior experience building CallWave, which went public in 2004.
