Overview
Riverain Technologies develops the ClearRead suite of FDA‑cleared artificial intelligence and machine‑learning imaging tools to aid clinician detection of lung disease from thoracic CT and X‑ray images. Its software is deployable in the clinic or in the cloud and is used by leading healthcare institutions including Duke University, Mayo Clinic, University of Chicago, University of Michigan, and Veterans Affairs hospitals. The company is based in Miamisburg, Ohio and was founded by the Mathile and Glennon families. Riverain says its products improve accuracy and efficiency in detecting cancer and other thoracic anomalies and plans to extend applications beyond the thoracic region. The company will use the new funding to accelerate product development and to scale commercially inside and outside the U.S. through established and developing distribution channels. Riverain received a $15 million growth investment to support these initiatives.
