The company integrates evidence-based medical treatment methods across addiction treatment, rehabilitation and recovery, with many physicians Board Certified in Addiction Medicine who design individualized treatment programs and provide one-on-one medical care. RiverMend is led by CEO Edmund Bujalski and has more than 350 employees across 15 nationwide locations. It maintains relationships with academic medical centers including Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, Northwestern University and the University of Southern California. RiverMend raised a $60M round of funding led by Norwest Venture Partners. The company intends to use the funds to expand into new markets across the U.S.
