RoboCamp develops online textbooks that enable teachers without specialist preparation to teach robotics and programming, primarily aimed at primary and secondary schools. The company’s services are also used by museums, libraries and other educational organizations. RoboCamp reports 50,000 students use its courses per year. Founded in 2006 by Wojciech Syrocki and based in Gdańsk, Poland, the company plans to develop a mobile e‑learning platform and a graphical language for that platform. It intends to implement new functionalities to individualize teaching, enlarge its course portfolio and expand into German, French and Spanish‑speaking markets. The recent funding will support those product and geographic expansion plans.
