RoboCV develops X-Motion, an AI-based intellectual autopilot system that uses vision sensors to model the environment and directly control steering, acceleration and braking for fully autonomous warehouse and industrial vehicles. The company completed robotization projects at Samsung’s and Volkswagen’s Russian factories and has plans to implement full-scale robotics projects for those clients and others. RoboCV aims to equip several tens of warehouse machines with X-MOTION by the end of 2015 and to sell preinstalled X-MOTION electric trucks in Russia and the CIS at the end of 2015 and internationally in 2016. It is partnering with STILL GmbH to develop vehicle autopilot solutions and a line of preinstalled X-MOTION trucks. Founded in 2011 and a resident of the Skolkovo Foundation, the company began as participants in the Google X Prize and originally developed a vision system for a lunar rover. Financially, RoboCV secured $3 million in new investments and previously received a $500,000 investment from LETA Capital in 2013.
