Langde Electronics (Zhejiang Langde Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.) develops and manufactures exhaust gas sensors, including the three core sensors of vehicle exhaust systems. The company claims full in-house ownership from chip design to sensor assembly and says product performance meets or partially exceeds foreign competitors. Langde says it has broken the long-standing foreign technology monopoly and is currently the only domestic firm to successfully mass-produce all three core exhaust sensors, and it supplies multiple automaker customers. After completing an A round, the company plans to accelerate its domestic business layout and continue overseas expansion. It intends to leverage investors’ industry resources to promote domestic substitution in an exhaust sensor market worth on the order of hundreds of billions of RMB.
