The company holds and scales internet businesses through its portfolio and related vehicles such as Global Founders Capital. Global Founders Capital is a portfolio of over 50 venture investments that includes minority stakes in companies like Goodgame Studios, Traveloka, Travelbird, Yemek Sepeti, DaWanda, Kreditech, Borro and SocietyOne. In August 2014 Rocket received a large strategic investment package that materially altered its capital structure. The deal injected cash and contributed equity from United Internet and Global Founders entities, increasing Rocket's available capital and portfolio backing. Following the transaction, Rocket's shareholder base and supervisory board composition were updated to reflect the new investors and stakes.
