航天泰心 has developed the HeartCon ventricular assist device, leveraging over fifty years of aerospace servo-technology experience. The device uses magnetic-fluid dual suspension, an integrated pump-machinery design, and system dual redundancy. It is small, lightweight, and designed for low hemolysis and no thrombosis; in vitro tests reportedly reach domestic-leading and internationally advanced levels. Animal experiments named "天久" and "三羊开泰" were successful, marking the technology as mature and indicating mass-production capability. The company is actively applying for clinical trial qualification and aims to provide full-flow ventricular assist support to tens of millions of domestic heart-failure patients. Recently it completed a first-round financing of over ¥100M.
