Overview

RocketRez offers an all-in-one ticketing and operations platform for mid-market tours and attractions, providing online and on-site ticketing via ecommerce, point-of-sale and contactless kiosks. The platform includes revenue management, business intelligence, customer management, and retail and food & beverage sales capabilities, plus integrations with payments, hardware, channel management and peripheral software services. It serves industries such as boat tours and ferries, zoos and aquariums, attractions and theme parks, and museums and galleries, with customers including Maui Ocean Center, Xtreme Xperience, Aquarium of the Bay, and Governors Island. RocketRez targets customers with revenues of $2 million to $200 million and is led by CEO John Pendergrast. The company is headquartered in Canada with engineering, operations, and marketing teams there, and maintains a distributed salesforce across North America while expanding into Europe. It plans to use the new funding to accelerate end-to-end guest experiences in new verticals and extend capabilities for existing tours and attractions. RocketRez offers a cloud-based platform that integrates online, in-person, and call-center booking engines into a full point-of-sale and inventory management system for tours and attractions. The product includes modules for events, private charters, catering, photos and kiosks, CRM, growth marketing, analytics, staff scheduling, and timekeeping, plus an industry-leading API. Founded in 2012 (revamped in 2014), RocketRez has expanded its product suite and serves customers across the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean. Despite COVID-19 headwinds, the company has grown rapidly, more than doubling annual recurring revenue year-over-year. The company recently hired industry veteran Monica Marics as COO and is actively hiring across sales and marketing, engineering, and customer success. RocketRez plans to use the new funding to expand into new business verticals and support continued product and team growth.
