ROI Media is a fast-growth lead generation technology business whose core product lets small businesses rent highly optimised websites to attract leads and generate sales. In November 2020 the company acquired the consumer finance assets of Raketech to accelerate growth in the financial services sector and establish a base in Norway. ROI has ambitions to become the number one lead generation business in Europe and is expanding into new markets including the UK and Norway. Since BGF's initial investment seven months ago, ROI has made strategic hires in key locations and is seeing significant growth in new markets. Management says the surge in demand from digital transformation has positioned the company to scale, and the additional funding will be used to unlock faster growth, expand market share, enter more locations and vertical sectors, and consider complementary acquisitions. BGF has now invested a total of £7 million in ROI, including the further £4 million announced in this Series A.
