Rooba Finance offers a self-custodial, full-stack digital asset management platform that enables institutions, family offices, HNIs and hedge funds to custody assets and execute trade strategies from a single dashboard. The platform uses a Threshold Multi-Party Computation (MPC) based custody network and includes an institutional-grade layer-2 network and MPC wallet so customers never need to manage a private key. Rooba also supports tokenization of physical assets and is planning what it describes as the first digital commodities and derivatives exchange out of India. The startup says it has gained traction with traditional custody players, HNIs and investment managers and is in advanced discussions to set up a precious-metal token and derivative offering globally. Rooba will use the $1.3M seed proceeds for platform development, establishing a licensed platform overseas, and enabling a global go-to-market. The team is led by Founder & CEO Srinivas L and plans to launch the platform on October 22 with an international presence.
