Rooms (from Things, Inc.) is a 3D design app launched into beta in 2023 that enables users to build and code interactive 3D rooms and mini-games using Lua and a library of items. The product features a TikTok-like vertical feed for browsing user-created spaces and supports remixing of rooms by other creators. The app is built in Unity and an iOS companion app is in development, with future plans to expand to AR/VR platforms. The company is in beta and the service is free to use while the team experiments with potential monetization such as paid objects, subscriptions, or education licensing.
