Rotor is a cloud-based content creation platform based in London, UK and Dublin, EIRE that enables users to create personalized music and promotional videos in minutes. Individuals upload an audio file and Rotor automatically matches and renders video content to the audio; users can choose stock video from Rotor or upload their own clips. The service generates a preview in around 3–5 minutes; if users like the preview they can purchase a high-resolution version or make changes if they do not. Rotor’s videos can be shared as messages on Snapchat, posted on Instagram, and viewed on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The company is led by co-founders Diarmuid Moloney (CEO), Eoghan Kidney (CCO) and Simon Hamilton (CTO). Rotor raised seed funding to support expansion of its customer base and growth of operations.
